Comrehensive cleaning of a turbogenerator by means of a dry ice technology

On 14-th and 15-th of April, engineers from our special services unit provided a thorough cleaning of a turbogenerator by means of a dry ice technology. The service has been conducted for ALSTOM Corporation, one of the world leaders in the power, transport and transmission technology industries.
The task was particulary difficult to conduct due the fact that the interior of the turbine is extremaly vulnerable to any interference. Therefore removing tiny pollution (such as iron filings and oil remainings) has been conducted by means of a dry ice technology, meeting the most severe criterion in terms of cleaness and leaving no sludge neither. The task was further hindered by the fact that the work was conducted in an area of explosion risk. Despite this high level of technical complexity, the service was performed diligently and on time.
