Increasing consumption leads to large quantities of waste which radically limits our living space. Environmental consciousness is increasing at the same time, and thus we try to view them as materials to recycle. More stringent requirements in the field of waste management and recycling have been applied since Poland’s accession to the European Union.

General issues of waste management in Poland are regulated by the following legal acts:

•     Act of 27 April 2001, Environmental Law (Journal of Laws 2001 No 62 item 628),
•     Act of 27 April 2001 on Waste (Journal of Laws 2001 No 62 item 627),
•     Act of 13 September 2001 on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Communes (Journal of Laws 1996 No 132 item 622).

On the basis of provisions included in acts and implementing regulations above-mentioned as well as 5-year experience in the field of waste management we offer our clients:

• internal audits on waste management including verification of the correctness of selective waste collection, control of waste recipients regarding ways of management as well as issued permissions, recommendations pertaining to optimisation of the process,
• assumption of the comprehensive waste stream management including maintenance of cleanliness in the places of temporary waste collection, regular monitoring of the fill-level in containers and skips, quality control of selective waste collection at work centres, cleanliness control of recycle fractions, providing specialised mobile sets of containers for mounting sockets, preparing refuse collection documentation (order for external companies, Waste Transfer Note), preparing monthly settlements of collected waste, counselling in the field of the current waste management regulation.
